wandering a labyrinth of
cardboard mini-skyscrapers, looking for the palletized Godot and waiting for it too patience should be a virtue, but there is only so much waiting a person can take before eyes become extension of frog tongues so you wander the corporate maze, imagining that the Minotaur would not break through your six-foot high wall of fridge-pack bricks you see the workers in red shirts as red shirts from Star Trek, prey for the bull beast that wanders behind seven-foot high shelves of soda, salted snacks and school supplies or maybe you imagine the Bond Theme playing in your mind enemies popping up from behind barriers firing AK rounds at you and if you survive it, you'll take on Baron Samedi in the Golden Gun Round round and round the complex compound you go, where the enemy fire comes from you don't know but eventually, the palletized Godot comes in four parts and only three remain after all the work is done and now you can walk the labyrinth of toys on the floor because our feet don't take enough of a beating on a daily basis another day, some more dollars, the working class hero always hollers
