Euclidean Dream

Euclidean Dream

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

daily, we struggle to perfect Euclid
or else, we risk blowing corporate's lid

six-pack bottles and eight-pack cans
forward-facing, marching on demand

make that Euclidean dream come true
make that successful facade come through

all the dozens, scores and twenty-fours
laser-level straight, the bosses all implore

every product beneath the burlap eve
Euclid pulled forward is what they conceive

but this is humankind we're talking about
nothing truly good to shout home about

leaving messes for the next guy to clean
discontent is that one common theme

yet the actor has to care, pick up the slack
or else he's part of the justified attack

and yet some attacks are unjustified
and the actor is left spiritually fried

just a new set of troubles, the daily grind
no matter where you go, no matter the time

so play along and keep perfecting Euclid
stick to the mission, you'll be glad you did
