to be a child again
to be an innocent once more they say it, but do they mean it? do they even comprehend the ramifications of that statement? it's a spoken version of an unspoken insanity to relive the negativity of your earlier traumas kids grow into adults and if given a second chance, would the universal laws of aging and changing become suddenly upended? and what different of a result could be expected? Peggy Sue married you instead of Cindy Lou and you had Jack Sprat and Jilly Bean instead of Jack Off and Jill Bean different families mean different triumphs and different disappointments again, nothing changes and life itself remains a negative proposition your a child once and never again be glad it happened at all
