Atomic Level

Atomic Level

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

alkanes, alkenes, alkynes
long bond chains that are shorter
than an angel's armhair
patterns derived from an
agnostic viewpoint
one where the inception
falls into a simplistic dichotomy
did or did not
right or wrong
no matter the number of scenarios
derived by the intellect to explain
the inception
it is either methane or methene or methyne
methylamine or methylamide
the chains, the valances,
the nuclei give the answers away
and we as finite beings
have only four truth scenarios
to pick from and that's the
electrons, protons and neutrons
of it all
the truth at the atomic level

Quite the word play going on here, and I like the way you compare the uncertainty of atomic levels to the term agnostic. As if it is impossible to ever truly know. I'm on to your not so secret plot to give WC a lesson in Chemistry.

Thanks, NE. You have stumbled upon it indeed.
So Ionic, after all ;)
Man! you bring me smiles, in this early morning with all that
Chemical stuff you wrote lately, I have really smiles on my face friend.

I like the together bonding here, of single facts.... ;)
It has just that perfect strong mature thing, and nerd thing.

Really good, I can't beat you friend :D you have chained me.
