Time

Time

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

there is only time,

linear lie or not,

demarcations are useful lies

because life itself is a

progressive beast,

humankind has murdered

the horizontal,

there are fifty shades of day

as there are fifty shades of gray,

humans are the secretaries that

willingly serve and service their

own living progression,

and life itself follows two

opposing curves,

one of growth

and one of decay,

both logarithmic in nature,

both sides of the same parchment,

the nature of star stuff under

the influence of cosmic radiation,

around the stars,

there is only perpetual night,

the expansive fabric of space-time,

the demarcations are useful until

the curves reckon themselves out,

life is a white dwarf or a neutron star

waiting to happen,

time is a curved surface after all

But what of the something that includes and encompasses all things, Including time?

I speak of the dimensions revealed in dreams. Time, space, subconscious, conscious, thought, mind, spirit...... Only the mortal vessel perceives time and chases its definition and seeks to master it.....

Out of all of us Ken, I think you'll come the closest.

Thanks, Debbie.
Regardless of time, when stars align it is truly beautiful. Your perception touches on the matter of what happens..."one of growth, and one of decay"

"around the stars,

there is only perpetual night,

the expansive fabric of space-time,

the demarcations are useful until

the curves reckon themselves out,"~ Brilliant write, Kenneth!

My pleasure. I love your thought provoking writes, my friend. :)
yes, it's curved, but it's one of those curves that runs out of gas before it reaches home plate, unless, of course, it is home plate

Thanks, Priyanka. I am glad for the review.
Ken, this is a beauty. It has that intangible science-spirituality feel that defies understanding and at the same time, on another level, makes things clearer.
