starting with a point becoming a line becoming a curve becoming a melding of lines and curves called words becoming a melding of words rhythmically positioned to elicit a catharsis and that is called the poem
good or bad
quickly laid down or painfully drown out
the poem expresses brusquely what the novelists and theoreticians say in billions and billions of letters, words, lines, paragraphs, chapters, novels, novellas, short stories and epics
that's likely why Plath and Pound have passed the time test over and over
the poets say it and spray it, no matter the location
