Diamond

Diamond

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

springing backward,
a miniature gymnast
in training, yet she
has the gold medal of
her parent's hearts,
laying prone like a
sniper in waiting,
moving her neck
without any sense
of direction or
purpose right now,
yet the potential is
there waiting in the
wings until it is ready,
and the cuteness factor
remains for the duration,
she's the diamond of
their eyes
