Hands so SmallA Poem by ChaosAnother one for my precious little girl.
Her hands so small Tucked inside of mine I stroked her fingers And checked each line So new I thought Untouched by the world Not harsh and hardened Softly impearled Her infant hands Too weak and little She relied on me For her bottle Time carried on She learned how to walk She held onto me Now she talks Crossing the street Two hands together Throws sweet smiles at me Jokes and laughter Independent Her hands now remote Standing on her own Motherhood wrote Remembering---- Her hands so small Tucked inside of mine Stroking her fingertips Missing each line © 2008 ChaosAuthor's Note
