I Remember

Inspired by a format

 

The sunset inspired my heart

and my imagination

whilst the breeze sullied my mind

 

Remembering holding you

In the warm summers moonlight

As the glow shadowed your face

 

My hands held your lips to mine

frantic not to let you go

as we kissed throughout the night

 

Your eyes a mere memory

and your love still lingers on

the moon settles in and yawns
