I'm going home.

I'm going home.

A Poem by Chaos
"

lyrics to a song.

"

Times a waisting I'm going home

I had enough of life on the road

People are waiting in line,

just waisting their time,

I am going home.

It's six O'clock in the morning

the driver say's to me,

just two more stops and your

on your way

You are going home

I'm going home

I am going home

We drove into the little town

everything is still the same

the difference is that I'm home to stay

I am going home

But there are things that I'm gonna miss

Like the friends I met on the way

and there are things that I'm sure of

I'm going home to stay

I'm going home

I am going home

I ran up to the front door

and swung it open wide,

you held out your hand

and you said to me

I am glad your home

I'm glad your home

I am home

I am finally home.

Dude, Thank you!!! I love this song...reading it is such a different experience than hearing you sing it. I still love it mind you, but your voice to the lyrics I think is what made it hit home. This reminds me of a soldier, coming home from war, taking the bus home to just gather his wary thoughts. Going over memories, knowing that he'll be home to stay, yet not knowing if his family will accept the man who he has become...different from the one that left. The suggested internal conflict is so palpable for this individual. This is by far my favorite song of yours!!!

Love ya,
Christine :-)
PS. Have you put this onto a tape for me yet? You were supposed to do that last year. LOL
PSS. Have you finished that song that you started for me? LOL Just wondering. :-)

Chaos,

This reads like a song. Do you play an instrument? If you do put some music to it.
Going home is the same great feeling you get when you've just hugged someone you love.

Wow. I am about to do the same exact thing. I have quit my recent job which is 2 and half hours away from where my wife and the rest of my family is at and am moving back in less than a week to my old job. Everything, hopefully, will get back to normal and everyone can be happy again. This was a perfect read for me at the moment. Thanks. Kudos.
