The Unnoticed

The Unnoticed

A Poem by Chaos
"

Random thought

"

Time stands still for the  unnoticed

alone in their chairs by the sill

watching the earth live and die

Sorrow engulfs the unnoticed

they hear the joy of love

from the passersby

Empty funerals for the unnoticed

they lie in the box

as the clock

ticks

tocks

ticks

tocks

for someone

who's noticed.

That is so sad, to go through life unnoticed. Great poem.

I like this very much with its intrinsic lonliness and solitary despair. You evoke the emotion well here.

Very depressing. An excellent write however. The invisible man/woman syndrome. Well done.

I like it. Very reflective and humbling as we wonder who will cry at our demise.
