Love is Four Seasons

Appreciate love.

Kiss me with intensity

like a spring rain

as it forcefully

gales

from the sky

to make music

on the street

 

Hold me with warmth

like the summer breeze

warms my skin

when it shivers

by the oceans mist

 

Engage me with colors

like the oranges,

greens,

and reds

on the leaves

as the sway to and fro

when the wind is playful

 

Calm me with coolness

like winter snowflakes

as they lazily fall

in a slow

mesmerizing

zigzag fashion

 

Our love is only four seasons

Moving 

month to month

day to day, 

hours into minutes

our love won't

stay the same,

 

but.....

 

We must cherish it while it's here

Hold it and treasure from year to year

The gift to feel

is ours to own

as long as...

 

We embrace the unknown

I LOVE the passion that is shown in here.I do believe love has seasons, I don't believe there is only four and i don't believe that they cannot cycle, be refresshed. Kind of like when you prune the old roses of a rose bush, more grow. Still I love to embrace passion as I have that, and it really is captured in this poem. beautiful
