We are one through space and time

Colors and cultures don’t always rhyme

However, think about what’s important

a life, a laugh, a tear

They can be taken away from you

before you have a chance to fear

 

But, don’t let fear of losing someone you love  

Stop you from living and loving

Don’t rob yourself of sweet tender joy

Because you are painfully grieving

Treasure everyone in your life

 

Don’t take for granted all the

minutes , seconds and hours of time spent together

it could be your last and you;

forever could be left alone to remember

 

Tell everyone how you feel now

at this very moment before the final

curtain call,

I don’t want your knees to be dirty

kneeling among the pine regretting it all
