This is Crazy for You

A love poem to my wife whom I had put through many ups and downs of a furious emotional roller coaster.

This Crazy is for you

I am here in front of you standing proud

The one who will tell you with a voice too loud

Perhaps with my feet walking on the bar

And my arms spread so far

Just to tell the world how you fell victim to my love

Yet no one is surprised for crazy is as crazy does

Accepting my love freely with your gorgeous green eyes

Which came to mine and your parent’s surprise

Then came the day we married; also known as when you went insane

Took our first steps as us with a hilarious kiss from The Dating Game

Our journey began in our car of condom confetti

Dumbfounded to believe I found someone so pretty

I will never understand nor be thankful enough

How you kept us together when I made it so tough.

Once you had asked when I ripped us apart

"Why not me?" to be the one close in my heart

I tell you today with my feet on the bar

It doesn’t matter where we travel near or far

My crazy is yours.  I give everything to you.

My headaches and backaches and bad jokes too

I will open your pickle jar.  Compliment stickers on your toes

I will make love to you madly when all correctly 'flows'

You are my wife and my lover and best friend

And you will have the crazy I am til' I meet my end.
