Cruel Symphony

Cruel Symphony

A Poem by G. K. Bostic

Blue, soft words

spoken in pianissimo,

chords of melancholy madness,

pain, drumming in my ears

with messages

I wouldn't hear,

crescendo of heartbreak

bring deafening dissonance

of crashing hopes....

    assimilated dreams

        fading into empty

                silence...

Suburb! I like the way this starts then builds and fades just a wonderful job!

oh this is great - the picture of sadness - melancholic - "crescendo of heartbreak" - the dissonance in the pianissimo - well written as always! nice!

Heart breaks has a way of making reality fade into sorrowful feelings. I like this little write.
