Daylight's Command

Daylight's Command

A Poem by G. K. Bostic

Between the dark and the daylight,
Meandering through the haze of a dream,
Truth veiled in illusion
Where we float on faerie wings,
And follow stardust paths through
Moonlight mystery.
Spirits carry their secrets,
Slipping away…
Putting paradise in their pockets,
Receding into the mist of memory
As reality pulls us into a new day.

I think this catches the essence of dreams very well..."truth veiled in illusion"

Nicely done!

ooo I love this one!! it's very ethereal - the haze of a dream to use your words! it has a mystical feel to it!! dream world almost - pulled into reality as the sun beckons us forth!! nice!
