A Lesson for BenA Poem by G. K. BosticWhen a little boy has to go, he has to go! (Just a silly little verse)I laugh as I remember How Ben pondered what to do Before he made a bee-line To the woods to hide from view.
That we heard a yelp and crash As Ben was whisked into the air And all we saw was ash!
He didn't see that rope That yanked him fully upside down And hanging without hope.
And said on his return, That he could write a book about The lessons he has learned! © 2010 G. K. BosticReviews
