You Can't Trust Anyone

You Can't Trust Anyone

A Poem by The Official Gary B

It's sad expecting to hurt, expecting your heart to break.

The feeling makes you feel numb.

It hurts your stomach and you can bearly breathe.

So thats why you just decide to let go.

No hope, no cause, just let go.

It doesn't matter anymore.

Just giving yourself up to the world.

Because the pain is worse than you can bare.

You can't go through it for a second time.

But what happens when  the right person comes.

And you having no feeling to share because you threw them all away.

You're heartless and unopen.

That person will just have to move on, just like you did...

Because in the end, you don't have friends.

You can't trust anyone!

Not bad. Usually I love it when things take a turn for the darker side of life but this poem doesn't really hit me. I don't particularly relate to this, although I may have thought that I would at some points in my life. I don't like that the word "emo" is the first thing that comes to my mind on reading this because I don't really care for emo poetry. To me it is pointless and repetitive. But it is a decent poem and the emotion is well displayed.

Honestly, I really loved this poem as I was reading it. Then the last two lines happened. I think that they kind of ruined the feeling of the poem.

Better to love than to hate Gary

I like it because I can REALLY relate.

I mean, it reminds me of all the times people change just to fit into one group, or something less than they truly are and then when they meet that person that would've loved to see that person, that person will get confused and will feel unliked or something like that.

I like how you made the poem warp right back to the meaning of the title giving it a large amount of strength that generates love for this poem.

This write is ok. A story about being defeated by life. Perhaps there's going to be a followup write about the way the author overcame and proved the world wrong, now that's a write I'd love to read.
Eleanor Roosevelt once said...
'No one can make you feel inferior without your consent'....think about that.

Great story written throughout this poem.

Dislike, I'm afraid.
Not that it isn't true, its just I already know.
I don't know why, but I just don't like milling around negative things like this.
I've known the lesson this poem teaches scince I was 9. I don't like people telling it to me again.
I'm extremely weird, because I get anxiety when I hear or see or read negative things. A normal person, when reading poems like this, get pleasure.
Well I don't :3

Very nice- a complicated concept expressed simply. And very true as well. The hardest part of getting hurt, is learning to trust again. I like this poem because I think everyone can relate to it so easily- I know that I can.
