When you’re in a bad mood
Everybody feels it
If there’s a ray of sunshine left
You’ll be sure and steal it

I’m gettin’ kinda tired
Of tryin’ to read your mind
People say under their breath
“and now what’s wrong THIS time?”

They know best not to cross you
When you have that certain look
You think your life’s a mystery
But it’s an open book

Some clear work-related tensions seem to be apparent, here. Although, the moody protagonist here; seems as if he or she could be any member of staff? After all, any employee could show similar mood problems; as those described above? It reminded me though, of how a bad boss can disrupt the overall harmony of staff; in a work environment. Then again, so could any employee; if they were sufficiently determined to do so..? It occurred to me too, that this piece could apply to other situations; even domestic ones.?

It's so very true Mari when you in a wonderful happy joyous mood. Everyone wants to share it with you. But if your in woe and upset. Most folks sidestep away from you and run to the hills. And that is when you really need your friends in times of strive and upset. Not just in good times.

Hmmm - had a boss like this some time ago - a real piece of work! But he did inspire me to seek alternative employment, which in the end, turned out to be a blessing... great write... very readable and relatable ... :-)
