Hurtful Critic

Indubitably, you're a writer like me
But your world is drenched in apathy
You're plodding through with lethargy
To write words so unclear.

Introvert, you're unrehearsed
Yet so well versed
In lines that hurt
And tear apart the things that I hold dear.

My love for you
It still holds true
You're begging me to notice you
But I sense that you're a person of regret.

In stanzas and soliloquy
The daggers you choose carefully
Are aimed to say
"I'll criticize you yet".

The person is in error who believes antagonism makes them clever.
You also have the very real prospect of flattering such a person with a poem as this. Very easy to imagine them licking a finger and painting the air with a grin: "one point to me" ...

My experience with this kind of "critic" is they have nothing of use or value to you as a writer. Nothing to share, though only to take. Therefor, 'shop's closed', as far as I'm concerned. 'You may not enter here'. "This writer has blocked you".

Nip it in the bud, and move on, friend.

i know the one you mean too
he upset me for weeks and weeks and i responded to him which in fact sped him along to hurt more
then out of the blue one day he apologised.
i accepted it but if hes hurting others now that is sad for him and others too

I doubt that, he will ever change he is arroagant and think he is superior to the rest of us. He loves the fact he upsets people to much. He is twisted and cruel.
He makes me angry.

Can people like that be reported here? For the record, this was on another site and I agreed that I misplaced the comma.
I welcome constructive criticism but they way they did it was anything BUT that.- so this was my answer ;)

i tend to agree with the comment from not logical not original further up the page
we dont know how these people are suffering
best to ignore and get on with writing instead of fuelling their responses

i sent the police to his house,he stayed quiet for a while..charlie don`t want to deal with it,he was kicked off deep underground poetry for that...and commas ,lol i miss most of them..just block
