The truth

The truth

A Poem by Gavin Keary
"

Around here, this is what it is like...

"

Acceptance is everything,

but with none my life does sting.

You fight for recognition,

but all it does is destroy your ambition.

You lay in the dirt,

everything broken and hurt.

You begin to sink,

and before you blink

you're six feet under,

dead and gone, your soul asunder.

As I lay on my permanent grave,

All I had was all I gave.

However, that wasn't enough to make it,

so now I die falling into my pit.
