I want you to...

I want you to...

A Poem by Gavin Keary

I want you to see

who I am,

not what I am.

I want to turn myself

inside out

so you can see me as I am

on the inside.

I want you to love me

for my laughs,

my cries,

my fears,

for everything

that makes me.

i can see exactly where your coming from, and i feel it to. Wish people could see you like that. Dawn

This poem will appeal to almost all human beings. I think that's what all of us want, to be loved and accepted for who we are, not who someone perceives us to be. Accept us, warts and all. A sensitve poem.

This is good. I like the simple yet deep meaning. I love the structure. This poem says a lot about how people want those close to them to see who they are. Very nicely written.
