SuicideA Poem by Gavin KearyAgain, this is a poem brought by severe depression.Crying alone in my empty home. Watching my mind Begin to unwind. All I have taken is now forsaken. I watch the crimson color flow from my self inflicted blow. I smile as the choir sings and grants me my heavenly wings. I say silent goodbyes to my earthly ties. But then I stop, start to fall, start to drop. I hit the ground without a sound. My chance to fly has sailed on by. I sit and stare at walls so bare. Crying alone in my empty home. © 2008 Gavin Keary |
