Can't You See, I'm Changing

I know I've never been a best guy for you but give me a chance, I think I can try.

Today I am weeping,

To see that you are gone,

For better or worse,

Yet the reasons are unknown...

My thoughts are torn,

As I lay helpless on a thorned bed,

Constantly whirling,

Like a tornado in my head...

Sound of your footsteps,

Haunts me still,

You're like a wandering soul,

Keeping me in thrill...

Are you ever coming back?

Or should I just die?

Leave this selfish world behind,

And take a walk in the sky...

God forbid,

If I ever curse you,

You know behind this mask,

There has always been a man who loved you...

Stupefied I was,

When you barged out the door,

Within it was,

A pain- bitter and sore...

Not a tear of despair,

Every drop is so pure,

Like a drop from an apple,

Of Eden's garden I assure...

It is now dark and gloomy,

For the pain I caused you,

My toes are getting numb,

At the end my mind is all blue...

Now the time is right,

I'm becoming a better man,

To get out of this fright,

We can come up with a plan...

Touch me again like a soothing summer breeze,

On this dead-cold earth,

Someday I might just freeze,

Stuck in an iceberg,

My existence will soon cease...

Turn around for once,

To see that I'm mending,

The gaps I made,

Can't you see, I'm changing,

Before my love starts to fade,

Can't you see I'm changing,

For I'm the one who is afraid...
