Tryst with destiny

Tryst with destiny

A Poem by Gaurav. C. Ail
"

Don't know what was running around in my mind when I composed this, it was a long time ago.

"
Here I am standing at destiny’s door
Don’t know what life has in store
Will I get a penny, or will it be more
Will it be trivial, or part of folklore?

I have to think, I have to decide
I don’t want to be taken for a ride
I want to go, travel far and wide
Overcome the mountains, fight the tide

The journey is perilous, I have to survive
Into the deepest oceans, if need be dive
But keep fighting on with bare hands, or knife
I have to do it, cause it’s my life.
