Roses are red
Violets are blue
The world is a rainbow
What color are you?
Darkness is black
While the light stays white
Bright is the day
And dark is the night
Love burns red,
Orange, and yellow
Blue means melancholy,
Grave, and mellow
Yellow makes me happy
With pink and green
But also black and white
And every shade in between
The moon shines silver
The sun shines gold
Color brings forth life
Some and fresh and some old
Monochrome
And shades of gray
Never stop me from hoping
For tomorrow’s a new day
