Unearthly Girl

Unearthly Girl

A Poem by Tara-Rist

I eat space needles and rest in wine
and from the looks of it now
I'm wasting no one's time
sitting on planets, gazing at stars
making my path, uncharted
listless and to you seemingly bizarre
but it has value and reason
and it's worth all it's rhyme
against human factors and season
clinging to vapors from dragon's breath
diseases and most cancer
or breathing threw tubes and breast
careless to orgasm in summer's breeze
find beauty in faults or flowers
with my own simplistic ease
you want to know, my fears and me
hold me close, clinch my warmth
and set yourself free?
with the beating of my hearts
put the bullseye in place
handed to throw life seeking darts
purpose, you have, lost in my world
sitting atop clouds all a glisten
with a fascinating unearthly girl
