"(t)Add Writing: a recipe"A Poem by thomas the youngera thick-laid quickie; SOCto Add Writing--just a tad, spice it, nothing much-- dump a bit; whip a spoon; take the room and RUN with it. blend until bowl blurs--curves catching the sun in 'em-- dash twice--Love of It-- splash thrice: Fundamint toss this bit of gum in it--hash and rehash, bound. Something of Rhythm--Its spout, tipped 'til Its vessel's up-ended... A half slice of a ginger synapse; A miniature graph of Macro; Sinnamon Love (with her sensual, um, EV'rything)-- Mash so Slowly that you smash those Wholly in your glass bowl, pestle In your Past, though Holding to your Present as a Future awaits chewing ("at LAST!" crows Hungry Student, eyes glittering-- Alas: no. If memory serves, The simmering curds Will hinder your words; And dinner is burned When sizzling verbs Slip in the mix And twist against Nouns Which don't wax Profound) © 2014 thomas the youngerAuthor's Note
