UsA Poem by Gaelan_HamiltonA strange little poem about the relationship between a computer and its ownerClick, click, click the keyboard sings, every night and every day. The hard drive hums along - it can’t hear the monotone drone it thrums. But I can, and I love it. Every groan, every moan, every dead deflated sigh. It’s because it’s mine; my own hunk of junk. Others have better but this one is mine. We’ve had many adventures, me and it. Created and toppled worlds, made new friends and foes too, oh what wondrous stuff we’ve seen! But everything has its allotted time, Even us…My old friend…Even…sadly… Us. © 2014 Gaelan_Hamilton |
