Blissful Serenity

Hearts crush,

Souls burn

Leaving us damaged

With no where to turn

We’ve all been there

Some deserve the pain

For others its not fair.

What did we do to deserve this?

Living in a dark abyss.

While others live in bliss.

Why do we have to burn?

From which there is no return

Damaged for good

By choices

We listened to the voices

Followed their lead.

Only to be thrown overboard.

Why can’t we have our souls restored?

Our hearts repaired?

Can’t we live life in it’s entirety?

Or do we get to watch you?

Watch you live life in blissful serenity.
