This is a poem that has been revised with the help of an insightful man who has a profound gift for the written word. The original can be found on my profile, but this is the one he worked on.
Handle With care By Gabrielle Esposito
On this page, I've hidden something Unimaginable! You cannot see it, It is not Tangible; Yet, It's beyond Admirable. It is what defines Us.
When the going gets tough, It causes us to make a Fuss. It houses all our beliefs, It knows the things we most Fear.
When life turns out wrong, It causes us to shed a Tear.
I have hidden it Here, because this page does not Judge.
So, this is where it lies My most prized possession.
Dear page, you are the only one who has ever heard my confessions.
It is the thing that fires my creativity, never letting it Lessen.
So, please, as you read each word, realize … my precious soul is hiding here.
Gabi,
I think this is one wonderfully-writ piece, filled with the kind of emotion and sensitive honesty so many of us can appreciate and understand.
Your command of English is most commendable, enjoyable, easily believed, captivating, and clearly apprehended … the hallmarks of a highly intelligent and skilled poetess.
Your presentation is impeccable, pleasing to both the eye and mind's-eye, and the manner in which you've capitalized to emphasize pertinent words is most creative and impressive.
I sincerely like your poem and its luring title very-very much.
"It" is quite tangible to the tenderness of imagery painted into the reader's heart, and all through the compassionate empathy of my emotional senses … you made me believe "It".
Yes, by all means, "handle with care". Thank you, Gabi, for such a deeply enjoyable moment shared with You, here, upon your un-judging page … hugs 'n blessings! ⁓ Richard

Your skill with language is quite obvious, the fact that it's been honed by someone else hasn't distracted from your own ability - and never should. If indeed you provided the 'handle with care,' - referring to your soul, it's a beautiful core-thought for a very find piece of writing..

In that case the phrase must have originated from you, and, is very much the heart of your writing.

I love it. It is good. I get the meaning, and I enjoyed the capitalized and emphasized written words in this poem.

Really like this, particularly the last couple of stanzas about the page and pen being representative of a person's body and soul. Almost like the bearing of a writer's soul, words are often the purest form of the human expression along with painting. Will look out for more of your work!
This has turned out brilliant, i can point out the changes you have made....It sounds more beautiful with the new setting, and looks soothing to the eye....Brilliantly done....Credit goes to both of you....God bless you.....
