Mosquitoes

Mosquitoes

A Poem by gabiaimee

His kisses are mosquitoes on my skin,
drawing outward the life from within
the narrowest of my veins,
leaving behind an itch,
a hunger for him,
an unbearable feeling I can’t ignore.

When I read the title, I thought it would be a funny one. But I surprised to see that you gave it a completely different meaning. The only thing is that I am eager to be kissed again, but I am definitely not interested in getting bitten by a mosquito. ;)

If my wife compared me to a mosquito I don't think she'd mean it in a good way but it works great in this poem. Outstanding job!
