PlummetA Poem by gabiaimeeWe don't just fall.
There's a thing you should know about writers:
When we fall in love, we don't just fall, we plummet. We tumble longer than Alice down the rabbit hole, and without the March Hare to follow. Our hearts continually skip like stones on a lake, then sink heavily into deep water emotions. While we are descending, the butterflies in our stomachs flutter out of our mouths, as they don't fall like we do. They pour up in words we cannot communicate without the facade of a pen or type. We do not know how to stop the plunge, or whether we will land into the arms of a savior or under the pressure of an endless ocean floor. All we know is that we will ultimately crash without a warning, where, or when. © 2015 gabiaimeeFeatured Review
