UnworthyA Poem by gabiaimeeI'm unworthy of your love
I don't want your money, your body or your life.
I never asked for diamonds, I only want your time. I'll no longer ask you, I feel it is a crime. Forever I will ask myself if I am worth your time. You'll tell me that you miss me from morning until bed. Makes me feel like it's my fault that those words waste your breath. I offer, I wait while you're off limits, I'm doing my best. I know I'm no priority, but am I worth your breath? When will I be allowed real conversation? Text is not enough. I don't remember how long I've missed the happiness I loved. You can cry when I am gone but I support everything you speak of. My commanded silence makes me feel like I'm unworthy of your love. Forgive me for wanting a two-way street when everything's not fine. You say I won't let you help but I can't have any of your time. It's okay. I know you're busy. At least you say you're mine. It's a decent consolation for being unworthy of your time.
