The Knife and My BackA Poem by gabiaimee
A chatter I have never known,
sun beams through windows on my toes. Hair tied up in a bun, to save it from wind and sun. Infinite acquaintances to chatter to, forty sit in rows of two. Yet I feel so unattached, I know the knife's behind my back.
