Left

Left

A Poem by gabbyhopeharo

Ones promised, Ones hearts desire, Ones kindred soul
Left, gone, departed

Wish there was a thing more to it than to be thrown out broken hearted
Wailing, whimpering, and yowling
But answers that's all I wanted
Yet, within silence, I was tortured with sole emptiness and extinction
There's love and misery with no distinction
I was left to be a gaunt ruin in the dark
This beastly cruel concept oh yes has traced its mark
I was abandoned, buried and clean forgotten
Consigned to oblivion, a sea full of rotten
And only one thing mattered
Something that was seemingly unfixable had shattered

"There's love and misery with no distinction .." How true.

The heart's oft. uncontrolled so its every beat. Love's 'bout love that brings pleasure to spirit but, somehow, in the end, what one gets is .. "misery with no distinction" .. what an imagery you paint 'pon very hearts'. Liked the depth of your damn thoughts. Great job, Gab!

Melancholic tone....Its really hard to put these sad feelings of love on paper....It has been presented in a spectacular way.....I admire you....
