Night PoemsA Poem by SoliloquistA mess of haikus I wrote at night over the period of two weeks while visiting mother's sister in Odawara (that's why it skips nights). The things you see while looking out of a window ehh?First night: The water lilies blooming under the moonlight The stars in my eyes Second Night: Under the moonlight an owl's wings are unfurling. The lovers' clasped hands Fourth Night: The midnight meeting persistent and unfailing Odawara's moon Tenth Night: The moon is hazy Their fluttering hearts conjoin Two hands intertwined The Lover's secret is hidden in the midnight A fleeting promise © 2010 SoliloquistAuthor's Note
