Here's the real summary!
Rain is the story about Nami Amaya, a very anti-social girl who loves the rain. When she was young her parents were killed in a car accident leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back. Now 17, turning 18, she knows it's only a matter of time before she is kicked out of the orphanage where she is greatly disliked, to Nami's confusion. She receives a letter in the mail the day before her 18th birthday about a scholarship to Hana Academy, an elite boarding school known for it's prized students. Not able to refuse the offer, she packs her bags and heads for her new school. Once she arrives she is immediately judged and ignored by everyone. At least that's what Nami thinks. After meeting Daiki Haruto, a happy-go-lucky boy, she realises she's able to receive happiness from someone besides the rain.

Nami- Surge or wave as in Tsunami
Amaya- Night rain
Daiki- Big; Shining
Haruto- Sun; Sunshine
Aiko- Little Loved One
