Around the CornerA Poem by Keikoinspired by Mark chp. 13 and Love Hate(On and On) by Disciple
Sitting in the forgotten woods Alone Just sitting there Listening to the wind Gracefully move past the trees The sound I craved for all day The rustling of the wind The trees And the creatures that inhabit
Slowly sliding into the horizon Purple streaks leaving their mark The warm fog surrounding The gentle perfume of Gods creation Soak it up For tomorrow it will disappear But never forgotten At least by those who cherish
More and more is he chosen Taking the place of the one I love Taking over the ones I love Taking over myself I … a victim In his little game of death But here he has no hold Here I am myself
As each day has passed The less and less I call myself Soon there will be nothing he will have won And it will all be over But I’m not to think of this Not to speak of such lies Such lies are apart of the game
Even the greatest of our kind Have fallen out of His love Consumed by unworldly hate We saw it coming Only never stopped it Never did we care to stop this hate Some of us took charge to fight But the enemy was one step ahead
This is how he took charge he used us against the other How else were we to fall? Ponder this, I sit In the woods of yesterday Hoping for the greatness awaiting us Thank you God For only making us suffer this long
And leave this all for the crows For Lord, you will emerge once again And be victorious as you were In the years of our late brothers In excitement I start running Through the woods of yesterday Only to fall back into the game But only for awhile
Just look at the Son Beginning to rise East Already is He appearing To save us once and for ALL.
