When shadows fall into your heart

Shadows of doubt surround you like the caged animal you are
Tearing apart your ambitions, dreams, and hopes
Strained to the point of something drastic
Clinging on by one fiber of one thread of your soul
Define your boundaries, except your fates for the light dimmed along the your temperate mind
You do not have a choice in this matter only a front row seat to your own demise
With the dark premises clouding your clear mind
You give into the will of the ways and relinquish your desires of everything once held close now buried
Jumping down smiling the entire way
