Reason to smile

When you fall out of touch with someone you once held on to so close things change.

When you used to be the reason for someone's smile

The things you think of become infinite

You wonder what changed to give them that smile

Is there some one new that has taken your place?

The thing is though that you never really know

for sure because there are so many reasons for why

Love becomes harder when your no longer the reason

they get out of bed each and every morning,

it becomes hard when you used to know every little

detail about that person, but now know nothing

The point being if you are the reason for some ones

smile never give it up and never give them a reason

to make them frown or you will be the one that regrets it.

When they grow attached to some one else you will wish

that there smile is directed at you
