Surgery Queen

Surgery Queen

A Poem by Fxyvanilla
"

I need help w/ this one. Like I say in poem It is my 3rd surgery. There is so much more I could add...

"
I find myself sittin here crying again, once again
Searching for how to numb the pain that I have been given
Laying in a hospital bed being pumped with Morphine every 8 minutes on end
Oh wow these drugs are good a time or two I know I have said
As they turn me into a hospital junkie intraveniously lead
A quiet room with machinces beeping my mind's foggy for who to blame
I am left with nothing but ragged scars of Malpractice and a lifetime of shame
For all that I have been through I asked where was God
Shut Up I'm trippin he was with me all along!
For the last 2 years my life seems to be repeating it's self
One incision on top of incision on top of another incision
27 staples high every rip to be exact,
now thats enough to give any new boyfriend a heartattack
this is my third surgery now, All because of an Emergency Room doctor one night I had seen
One day in my future I am hoping this all will be a dream
Sincerely signing off, your surgery Queen
