behind this mask

A Poem by Reward 'premio' Mwale

behind this mask
a man unknown
blind as dusk
mysterious as dawn
crazy and wild
still nice to the bone hasty yet mild
grill ice when i'm gone
king of smiles
role dice for my throne
looking into the mirror
i'm just as weird as my clone twisted as a cyclone
still straight as a sunbeam
neat as nylon
the sun my inspiration
like it i'ma shine on
i should call me brighton my future seems light shone
behind this veil
to my personality a trail
in this flesh my jail
only death my bail
unmask me see the creep i am
i'm clumsy
but thats half me
the other half is still tryna fix my clumsy
behind this mask
are battles still being fought conflicting decisions
answers being sought
behind this mask hides a masked face
