innovative short poetry has always been a soft spot for me. i believe you have shown to the reader that you have basically mastered it. and while i do not agree that short poetry does not tell stories; i too would like to read something with more "meat" to it. if that is possible. great and powerful pieces though that deal with unearthed emotions.

okayyyyyyy... that was simple. Really you should try writting poems that actually tell you a story or descrive a feeling...
