fifty

fifty

A Poem by NIALL FULHAM
"

coming of age

"

Fifty

fifty for me one month away

does not scare me in anyway

I look in the mirror and see george cloony

I must be loony

I feel full of buzz life is good

I remember my forty but I feel like thirty

back to the future the candles will say

I will blow them away for age is just a number

I have my sense of humour

And a good thing it is, too, that you still have your sense of humor. Hold on to it for around about sixty you'll need to check it again!
I'm 64 and sometimes I think that my crusty old sense of humor is all that's not slipping away!
Liked your sentiments here and the presentation, too.
Oh, and happy birthday!
