I'm all better

I'm all better

A Poem by Lillian
"

After surgery, I am feeling a little more warm hearted

"

I'm alright
The pain is gone
Let's live life.
Now.

Here we go,
There's nothing in our way.
No more tears, no wore sorrow.
It's gone.

Hold on tight,
I'm ready to fly.
I'm ready to let lose.

Sure I've got scars
A bruise here and there.
But who cares?
It will all be gone tomorrow.

Tomorrow,
We will be gone.
Like the pain.
We will dissapear into the sun.

I'm alright.
The pain is gone.
Let's live life.
Now.

It always nice to move on from the past, the pain and the sarrow and find the light of the future. Sometimes it hard to move on or even grasp something like surgery but if you see it in a positive light it opens your eyes to wisdom. Well written. Glad to hear that you are better. Thanks for sharing.

What a light-hearted feeling!
This is wonderful. It's free and it just floats away with you.
I love how you've embraced the scars and bruises. They'll be gone tomorrow.
You have such a positive upbeat look on life, I envy that. :-)
Your writing really does express who you are as a person.
Perhaps I should compliment THAT more than I should compliment your writing. ~grin~
But honestly the core of the writer, how he/she really feels inside is always expressed within their written prose. So this is very beautiful indeed in its representation of you.
Brava!

A very positive poem. I like it a lot. Sometimes in all the pain we go through in life we don't realize that sooner or later it will all be over... we'll get over it... we'll feel better and we will love again... or we'll die, but either way, as you stated, "it will all be over". Great work.

Love "wore sorrow"

I like the paradox, dismissing the theme.
