Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by Lucy Green
"

A sorta depressing poem but it also has a whole lot of truth built up in it.

"

I stumble blindly about

A place I couldn't do without

I whisper to the ignorant moon

The chilling mist comes too soon

It slowly yet greedily clouds my mind

And seeps into places I thought were confined

I slowly open my hazy crystal eyes

The faded world around me is a lie

I'm all alone in this world of mine;

I'm painfully trapped inside my mind
