HOUSE OF SADNESS

HOUSE OF SADNESS

A Poem by highthought
"

A NEST AND HOUSE

"

She was asked to smile,

Instead, she replied,

"It is easy to find a bird in a nest,
but, hard to get a smile from the house of sadness."

Short but sweet, tells a story and it's meaning. Nice.

it truly is hard to get a smile out of a house of sadness. even a house of fear, hate, or a house of anger. i like this

Well I hope that smile can make it out of saddness' house. You captured the emotion and frustration well. I don't like to be sad, but when I am I hate it when someone asks me to smile; easier said than done sometimes. Good read.

I can certainly relate. Simple format and elegant wording, very nice, indeed.

I love this - i have been asked to smile but it is as you write-
""It is easy to find a bird in a nest,
but, hard to get a smile from the house of sadness."
This is my favorite of your so far.
