Hush.

Hush.

A Poem by Naomi WIlliams

Don't worry, dear.
It'll be alright.
This happens an awful lot when
they go and shut out all my lights.

Hush.

Don't try to help me.
Just shut me up tight.
Keep me broken, keep me weak.
Maybe then I'll learn
when it's best not to speak.

This could be read in two different ways. One abuse, or 2 being trained.
I hope it is not from abuse.
