"Words"

"Words"

A Poem by Christine Crowson
"

Each person is effected by words. Each and every day. This poem just opens a glimpse into a wish to capture such words.

"

Just as the wind,

flowing unobtrusive,

carries words

Words once spoken

Words once regretted

Words filled with desire

Words sewn with healing

As the wind passes,

she opens her palm

with just...

a wish

That she could capture

-grab hold of-

her Present and Past

in the handful

of Words

invisibly collected.

thank you so much!
I love the word choices and emotion in the poem. You may want to work on the format so people would read it maybe a bit more the way you think it should be read. All in all, an amazing poem.
